I create two types of commissioned art. My main stay is my torn paper pet portraits. It's been a fantastic year I have more work than I can fit in, which for a professional artist is a very good problem to have! I wish I was able to work faster but the intricate work takes mucho time. I had lots of forward progress in my art career this last couple of weeks. I was asked if I wanted be featured by a nationally distributed art magazine for next year and was asked to join a really fabulous group of online art instructors to teach my process. I was definitely doing happy dances! I have several pieces to share this week.
The other style of commission art I do is digital paintings (if you're curious about my process you can find more details here http://robinpanzerart.blogspot.com/p/digitally-painted-pet-art-portraits.html )

Picture 1. (Left) The created eye 2. (Middle) Checking eye I created against ruby's photo 3. The eye I created on top of photo to check for accuracy before I move it over to the piece I'm creating...Yep it's a spot match, don't cha think? Eye Ingredients: Torn Vermillion Paper, a bit of Alcohol Inks to get the color match, White Gel for eye lights, Crystal Lacquer for that wet look.
